What We Do
OCRRA is the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency. That’s a fancy way of saying we’re the group that oversees what happens to solid waste and recycling from Onondaga County communities. We’ve been working to keep neighborhoods like yours cleaner and healthier since 1990. Currently, OCRRA programs include: Award-winning recycling and composting programs. A foundation for local waste disposal at the Waste-to-Energy Facility. Convenient trash and recycling drop-off. Numerous partnerships for recycling and disposing of hard-to-manage materials. With help from residents like you, these programs continue to support Onondaga County in helping save the world a little each day!
