Who We Are
Comprised completely of Volunteers, Disable American Veterans focuses on helping Veterans get to their VA-approved medical appointments. This mission is carried forward by:
• Providing free transportation for Veterans to and from their appointments at VA facilities and VA-referred Veteran Choice programs.
• Coordinating transportation across 14 counties with 36 donated vehicles.
• Soliciting funds for more vehicles to replace an aging fleet.
• Opening new substations to improve coverage throughout Southern/Central/Northern NY.
• Recruiting more volunteers to better accomplish our mission.
