Vietnamese Lunar New Year Festival ( Tet 2020)

The Vietnamese Community of Syracuse, in collaboration with the Catholic Community of Syracuse is hosting the Lunar New Year festival this year at the Regional Farm Market F Shed on Sunday January 19, 2020 ( the day right before Martin Luther King's Day). This will be our 2nd BIGGEST lunar new year event that we have done. Our event included FREE carnival/folk game stations with FREE prizes. We are also selling cultural foods and beverages. For entertaining, we have cultural performances including but are not limit to lion dancing, kung-fu demonstration, traditional dress fashion show. This year, we will also have a popular Vietnamese Singer from a well known entertainment ( Paris by Night) joining us for entertainment session. We would need volunteers to help support us in attending the kid's game booths, greeting guests, serving food and help with other miscellaneous simple tasks. Money made from this event all goes back to the community to support Kung Fu program, senior citizens event and resources, after school program and much more. THIS EVENT WILL BE INDOOR AND HEATED.
