This project will focus on improving and maintaining this community greenspace through a variety of stewardship activities, including:
- Mulching, weeding, and pruning park trees throughout the area;
- Weeding and refreshing the garden beds near Traveller's Rest;
- Litter pickup throughout the park corridor; and
- Clearing vegetation along the fence line to improve sightlines and visibility to the creek
Volunteers will meet at the parking lot at Hunt Ave and Rockland Ave. This is where OEC staff, and registration will be held.
