We’re excited to participate in this year’s United Way Day of Caring, and we’re looking for up to 30 volunteers to help us make a real impact in the lives of those we serve.
We’ll be working at two locations in Syracuse, completing a variety of cosmetic renovation and improvement projects that will directly benefit our residents, including families and veterans.
Volunteer Project Locations & Detail
Southside Syracuse Properties
Help us enhance several family homes by:
Painting
Deck, step, and railing repairs
Chain link fence removal
We’ll need approximately 25 volunteers for this site.
VanKeuren Square – Veterans Property
Support our veteran residents by:
Staining picnic tables
Building and installing an outdoor produce stand for tenants to share their produce with other tenants
We’re seeking 5 volunteers for this site.
Lunch will be provided!
