Description

We're Seeking Volunteers for Small Group Digital Literacy Workshops!

LiteracyCNY’s Digital Literacy Program helps adults develop essential skills-such as device use, internet navigation, and using common software like email, Microsoft apps, and Google tools.

We're recruiting volunteers to lead small group workshops (4-6 adults) on essential digital literacy topics! Workshops are 60-120 minutes long and cover topics such as:

  • iPhone/Android Smartphone Basics.
  • Intro to Searching Online.
  • Recognizing & Avoiding Online Scams .

These workshops are an exciting expansion of our existing no-cost, one-on-one digital literacy services at public sites across Onondaga County.

Requirements:

  • Complete our Digital Literacy Volunteer Training to learn about the program's goals, the communities we serve, and how you can make an impact.
