Terra Science and Education is the New York State affiliate of Invention Convention (ICNY). Children grades K-12 (yes, even kindergarten!) identify a problem, imagine an invention to address it, make a simple model out of cardboard or recycled "stuff" and prepare a pitch for judges. Presto - kids discover realize they can be inventors and entrepreneurs.
Terra is launching a committee to bring ICNY to every district and youth organization in the state ASAP. As you can imagine, that means many hands and much enthusiasm. Want to be part of the live and/or virtual fun?
