The mission of Syracuse Police Athletic/Activities League (Syracuse PAL) is to engage our community youth with law enforcement in a constructive manner to keep kids safe and on a path to success. Our aspirations are high. Involvement in programs like sports and other activities provide a sense of belonging, purpose, and pride for our youth and volunteers. Never has this been more important than emerging out of a pandemic. Through participating in fun and challenging activities, our youth will have more opportunities to learn, grow, network, and build both personal and professional relationships. These relationships are valuable to giving them greater odds of success. At Syracuse PAL, we firmly believe that having our youth establish relationships with law enforcement at an early age can foster a safer, more trustworthy, respectful and welcoming environment for the community that everyone stands to benefit from. Syracuse PAL welcomes volunteers, especially active and retired law enforcement, as we grow our programs and connect with more kids.
