Who We Are
It has been a 30-year journey to gather together the artifacts, equipment and willing personnel to help tell the story of firefighting and first responders in our community. We are located at the quarters the former Syracuse Fire Department Engine Company 4 at 229 Wolf Street, and have restored the circa-1911 Captain's Office, the bunk room, and the brass sliding poles to further the vintage fire station experience for all ages.
What We Do
It is our mission to provide the citizens of CNY with the vast and colorful history of firefighting and emergency services through interpretive displays of vintage firefighting equipment and artifacts plus a trip of beautifully restored vintage fire engines. We also provide fire prevention education material and instruction for visiting classes of school children.
