Who We Are
We are a non for profit, which was established in 1976. We are all volunteers, most of us are retired senior citizens.
Many of us volunteer several days a week.
What We Do
SCAT Van is a door-to-door transportation service for any person age 60 or over, or for any person with a documented disability that prevents them from using public transportation in Cayuga County. We transport for medical appointments, groceries, employment, hair dresser, lunch with a friend and even a small pet to the vet. We do not charge a fee for our service, just ask a suggested donation of $3 Auburn each way and $4 rural areas each way.
