Who We Are

Ricky’s Fund was founded in memory of Ricky Christiansen, a beloved father, brother, and dance dad whose life was tragically cut short by an accidental fentanyl overdose. Our team is made up of family, friends, and community members who have turned our grief into purpose. We are based in Liverpool, New York, and work closely with local organizations, schools, and dance studios to continue Ricky’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and advocacy. Since our founding, we have proudly awarded over $5,000 in dance scholarships and continue to grow our outreach to make a difference in both awareness and prevention.

What We Do

Ricky’s Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and supporting young people through education and opportunity. Our mission is twofold — to provide life-saving education about substance awareness and to honor Ricky’s legacy by funding dance scholarships for youth in our community. Through community events, school partnerships, and outreach programs, we aim to spark open conversations about mental health and substance use while offering hope, education, and positive outlets for young people.
