What We Do
HOPE provides bereavement support to all individuals
and families, at every stage of their grief journey. We serve a population that
is diverse in age, gender, and socioeconomic background.
When a death occurs within a school,
business, or other organization, HOPE’s peer counselors visit the site to
provide direct, community-based support to those affected. This is in addition
to offering individual counseling and support groups at our primary location.
HOPE also offers a variety of resources for those who are grieving. We curate a
variety of supportive articles, produce a bi-monthly newsletter, and partner
with field experts to provide diverse modalities for grief support, such as
yoga and singing. Additionally, we offer specialized training to organizations,
preparing them to effectively support their members and employees when faced
with the death of a loved one.
