Who We Are

Hopeprint spent its first decade as a dynamic, grassroots organization founded in Syracuse, NY that evolved to meet the changing needs of our neighborhood and its residents each season. Some of these early and largely informal services evolved into the programming many came to recognize from us. For example, weekly dinners evolved into our women's program Her Village and tutoring around the kitchen table evolved into several more structured youth programs.

In our second decade in reflecting on our progress, we saw that people are profoundly impacted by place. Whereas we were previously putting our focus on people, we realized that the needs of our people had evolved and there was already an abundance of traditional human services, so we turned our sights on where people and place converged. By streamlining our programming and partnering with other area organizations who already provide human services such as emergency housing, English Language Learning, and similar programs, we were able to focus on areas of the human experience that would allow our constituents to prosper in place rather than moving away.

What We Do

We facilitate sustainable development in local neighborhoods, envisioning the transformation of every community into being a place where all can flourish.
