Contact Community Services is a Syracuse-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health of individuals across the lifespan. We respond to the evolving needs of our community with compassion, professionalism, and care.
What We Do
Contact operates 24/7 free and confidential phone-based services, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, offering immediate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress, crisis, or suicidal ideation; 211 Information and Referral services, screening callers for social determinants of health and connecting them to essential community resources such as housing, food, healthcare, and financial assistance, while also engaging in emerging integrated care models through the Healthy Alliance Social Care Network under New York State’s Medicaid 1115 waiver; school based programs offering social-emotional learning, youth mentoring, mental health education and counseling, equipping young people with the skills and support needed to navigate challenges and build resilience.
