Retail and Organizing

Neighbors and local business donate materials to Cortland ReUse knowing they will "find a new home" with someone in our community.  Volunteers sort, clean, and prep materials for next person!

It's fun to wade through an unpredictable collection of objects.  

Once you get to know the process, you can find your own niche.  Volunteers also setup displays, make signs, research objects, and proactively identify ways to make the reuse center more useful to people.

We aspire to create a fun, educational, and low-key experience, where volunteers are also making a meaningful contribution to our community.  We can generally work around your schedule.
