Volunteer Recruitment Member
As a Volunteer Recruitment Member you'd assist the Volunteer Services Team find a skilled, talented, and diverse group of volunteers for various roles in the American Red Cross. We rely on volunteers to help families when they need support. There are many ways volunteers can help. A recruitment team member uses their skills to find and attract new volunteers in local communities.
DUTIES:
*Meet with our team (virtually) to identify Red Cross recruitment needs.
*Share your fabulous and creative ideas for volunteer recruitment efforts.
*Research outreach events and fairs to attract volunteers.
*Reach out to community groups to set up and give presentations.
COMMITMENT:
*Have a flexible schedule.
*Attend short virtual meetings with the team a couple of times a month.
*Attend events that you identify as opportunities for recruitment in your area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Reside in the Eastern NY Region
*Valid Driver’s License
*Age 18+
*Comfortable working independently at times
*Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
