Help Adults in Your Community with Essential Digital Skills- Volunteer with LiteracyCNY!
LiteracyCNY is looking for a committed volunteer to support our Digital Literacy Program at Fairmount Community Library. As a Digital Literacy Volunteer, you will work one-on-one with adults to improve their digital skills-such as device use, internet navigation, and common software like email, Microsoft apps, and Google tools. Volunteers assist individuals using their own devices or on a laptop provided by LiteracyCNY.
Details:
- Time Commitment: Volunteer once a week for a 3-hour appointment-based shift.
- Location: Fairmount Community Library
Requirements:
- Complete our Digital Literacy Volunteer Training to learn about the programs' goals, the communities we serve, and how you can make an impact.
- Commit to a reoccurring shift for a minimum of six months.
