Help Adults in Your Community with Essential Digital Skills- Volunteer with LiteracyCNY!
LiteracyCNY is looking for a committed volunteer to support our Digital Literacy Program at Beauchamp Branch Library on Saturday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm. As a Digital Literacy Volunteer, you will work one-on-one with adults to improve their digital skills-such as device use, internet navigation, and common software like email, Microsoft apps, and Google tools.
Commitment Details:
- Time Commitment: Volunteer on Saturday mornings for a 3-hour shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. You’ll only need to be at the library when appointments are scheduled! For example, if there's just one appointment from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, that's the only time you're expected to be there!
- Location: Beauchamp Branch Library
Requirements:
- Complete our Digital Literacy Volunteer Training to learn about the programs' goals, the communities we serve, and how you can make an impact.
- Commit to a reoccurring shift for a minimum of six months.
