Description

Scouting in Syracuse is Longhouse Council's initiative to extend Scouting in the City of Syracuse by organizing new units to serve their neighborhoods. Current and former Scouters, parents, and Scouting alumni can give back to Scouting by donating their skills to help our most needy Scouts. Donate a few hours, a day, or a weekend to help directly with Scouts enrolled in Scouting programs. Volunteers are needed to help with Cub Scout meetings, weekend events, weekend camping and summer camp. Whether you have time to give on an ongoing basis, or have a special skill or experience to share once, you could make a huge impact!

All ongoing volunteers must take a safe environment training and undergo a criminal background check prior to working with youth.
