Join the members of the Syracuse Rose Society as we start the gardening season in the historic Mills Rose Garden located in Thornden Park. Early spring means lots of help is needed to uncover the roses, check for winter damage and prune where needed, and plant beautiful new roses. Work parties are held on Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings from 8am-12 noon. We ask that you plan to stay at least 2 hours. We'll show you what needs to be done, give you the tools, and of course, good company provided. Dress for the weather, bring gloves and a water bottle.
