Join House of Psalms 23 for our Welcome Home Project as we prepare our newly established Supportive Housing Program, featuring 14 scattered-site housing units for individuals transitioning into stable housing. This volunteer opportunity will help transform empty apartments into welcoming homes for participants who are beginning a new chapter in their lives. Volunteers will work alongside House of Psalms 23 staff to create comfortable, dignified, and move-in-ready living spaces while also enhancing the outdoor appearance of the property.
Volunteers may assist with: Assembling and arranging furniture Making beds and staging bedrooms and living spaces Setting up dining areas and kitchens Stocking refrigerators and pantries with essential food items Organizing household supplies and welcome baskets Light cleaning and final apartment preparation Gardening and planting flowers Landscaping and beautification of the property General yard work, including mulching, weeding, and sprucing up outdoor spaces.
