In the last week of January, the Housing and Homeless Coalition of Central New York conducts the Point in Time count of people who are experiencing homelessness. The PIT count this year will take place on January 30th and they are looking for volunteers to canvass in Onondaga, Cayuga, and Oswego counties. There is a volunteer training session.
Onondaga County
If you would like to volunteer in Onondaga County, please contact mstuart@unitedway-cny.org or 315-428-2224. Training will be on Wednesday, January 23rd at 10am at United Way.
Oswego County
For Oswego County, training will be on Wednesday, January 23rd at 3pm at the Oswego County Opportunities Fulton Office. Contact Jill Griffey for more information: jgriffey@oco.org
Cayuga County
