Help Child Care Solutions appreciate the other first responders - daycare and child care providers! Friday, May 8th is Child Care Provider Appreciation Day and Child Care Solutions has deliveries of health and safety supplies to show our child care providers that we care about them and are grateful for what they've done to make it possible for all the essential workers to keep on working during the pandemic.
Volunteers will need to pick up supplies from the Child Care Solutions office (6724 Thompson Road, Syracuse, NY 13211) on Wednesday, 5/6 or Thursday, 5/7 and deliver them on Friday, 5/8. Volunteers will be given instructions on contactless delivery and given a delivery route of ~10 daycare / child care providers in Onondaga or Cayuga County (to the extent possible, volunteers will be able to choose the community they will be making deliveries in).
In order to comply with both Matilda's Law and the CDC guidelines,
we are asking all volunteers 65 and older to stay home.
