The Salvation Army has received a huge donation of milk that they must distribute to the Syracuse community and they need your help to do so! Volunteers are needed to help in the following roles:
- directing traffic (no lifting involved)
- unloading milk and food boxes and crates
- loading milk and food into cars
Face coverings are required and the Salvation Army will provide gloves to all volunteers. Social distancing will be observed to the extent that it is possible.
Please be aware that this volunteer opportunity will require lots of bending, twisting, and lifting and it will be a VERY hot day! Please bring water! Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.
In order to comply with both Matilda's Law and the CDC guidelines,
we are asking all volunteers 65 and older to stay home.
