The American Dairy Association North East is once again donating a TRUCK LOAD of milk to distribute to the Oswego community! Individuals and families will be driving through to pick up their milk and we need volunteers to help us with this contactless distribution in the following roles:
- unloading milk from crates
- loading milk into the trunks of vehicles
- loading empty milk crates and pallets back into the trucks
Face coverings and gloves will be provided to all volunteers and social distancing will be observed to the extent that it is possible.
Please be aware that this volunteer opportunity will require lots of bending, twisting, and lifting and it is likely to be a hot day. It will be an active afternoon! Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver.
In order to comply with both Matilda's Law and the CDC guidelines,
we are asking all volunteers 65 and older to stay home.
