By HIS Spirit Ministries is a Christian faith-based organization that teaches youth practical skills. We provide a safe place to go after school where children can learn skills that will set them up for a life full of successes! As part of our programming, we need knowledgeable, patient, and passionate teachers who can educate and lead our youth. Teachers would lead a small group of youth in any are they have expertise in. Some ideas include:
- small electrical repair
- furniture repair
- woodworking
- small engine repair
- sewing/knitting
- Arts
This is just a small list of ideas, and we'd love to hear any ideas you may have. Sessions would take place after school, and we can accommodate any level of involvement (e.g., 1 day/week or 5 days/week). Don't hesitate to reach out to Vicki Hemmer ((315) 632-5325) with any questions!
We are also looking for volunteers to assist with our organization long-term. We are a Christian faith-based organization looking to expand and move into our next phase as we teach practical skills to Syracuse's youth!
