Seeking able-bodied volunteers to muck the mini-donkey stalls on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays. This entails bringing a wheelbarrow and pitchfork into the mini-donkey area and cleaning all the manure out of their stalls and flipping their sawdust bedding so it is fluffy, and adding more bedding when needed.
This is a favorite activity for volunteers because the mini-donkeys are so friendly and loving, and volunteers also can groom them (brush them).
This activity is physically engaging but very doable for most people, and a great activity for kids and families.
We are seeking reliable people with relatively consistent schedules who are available for about 90 minutes on Tuesdays and/or Wednesday on an ongoing basis. We provide training and support.
