The Volunteer will assist the teachers in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of students. Support the teacher/classroom to ensure and maintain a safe healthy learning environment. Establish positive and productive relationships with the children. Actively engage with students in all areas of program. Support social and emotional development. Provide positive guidance. Advance physical and intellectual experience.
HS Diploma or equivalent, experience working with children birth to age 5 in a classroom/day care setting is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. OCFS Clearance, background check, and fingerprinting is required
Full or Part time is available; Monday-Friday, days and times are flexible, 10 month
