Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help us with the FIRST annual - "Run the Redline" 5k Run/3K Roll or Stroll! This will be an educational event that traces a portion of the infamous 'redline' that helped segregate Syracuse. "Redlining" maps deprived Syracuse's most racially integrated neighborhoods of opportunity, and their effects can still be felt today.
In the afternoon we'll need volunteers to help with the clean up - description below.
- Tear Down / Clean Up (15-20 Volunteers): Volunteers to help tear down the start/finish line area. Duties include taking down signs, collapsing tables, picking up trash from the surrounding area. Standing, bending, lifting 25-50 lbs, might get a little dirty.
